2022 Primary Election Dates
- Deadline for online voter registration & change of party – June 28
- Maryland has same-day registration & voting in-person during early voting & on Election Day!
- Mail-in ballots sent – mid-June – see below for information on requesting a ballot
- Early voting – July 7-14 – the county has 14 locations
- Primary Election Day – July 19
Register to Vote
- Check the status of your registration (confirm your information is up to date): click here.
- Register online by June 28: click here.
- You can download and print a registration form to register. Click for: English, Spanish, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and Korean.
- Or contact the Montgomery County Board of Elections to request an application be mailed to you.
- If you miss the online-registration deadline, same-day registration is available at all in-person voting centers during early voting and on Election Day.
If you have a felony conviction, but are not currently incarcerated – you have the right to vote in this election. Still unsure? Click here to learn if you’re eligible.
